About this webinar

According to new research from the UK & Ireland SAP User Group, around 86% of users have yet to grasp the implications of GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation) as it relates to their existing and future SAP inventory.

The answer lies in addressing all the different aspects of GDPR. One considerable challenge is the Right to be Forgotten (Article 17), which refers to the right to have personal data erased in some specific circumstances. With GDPR, the onus is on an organisation to prove why a particular data subject’s information cannot be deleted from their systems. As a result, organisations are considering ways in which they may be able to remove isolated datasets from their systems. Many start with archiving, but realise the cost and time required for an archiving project will be extremely high for one subject’s data removal.

Data Redact is a new solution developed for redacting identifiable information in your SAP systems. This enables the removal of any link between the natural person and the remaining record, without the need to remove transactional data, and without losing the reporting capabilities on the rest of the dataset.

Join Paul Hammersley for a focused 30-minute webinar on how Data Redact can redact the identifiable information to comply with the GDPR law, but still retain the data in your SAP system for analytics.
