Want to get some easy tips on the Journey from SAP to SuccessFactors, and how to do it successfully? I’ve been around the SAP HCM space since 1995, and back in those days the biggest challenge was finding relevant information, training materials, etc. I remember struggling with the SAP Help, which was still in German in some places. What is interesting is that now the challenge seems to be a bit of the opposite. There is so much information available that it's a struggle to stay on top of it all.
The information changes frequently, and the terminology expands every day in line with the latest technologies. So, our overall vocabulary for all things SAP and ERP has now evolved into cloud, SaaS and intelligence, etc.
I make an effort to maintain some reference materials including the The Ultimate Guide: SAP HCM & Payroll Options for Existing Customers to keep everyone in the loop on these changes, and to help us understand not only how we got here, but also to help us plan better for our future.
To this end, I wrote a succinct white paper that outlines the key information that I think is relevant for clients making the journey from SAP to SuccessFactors, or for those currently operating in a hybrid SAP SuccessFactors environment (and/or those using Employee Central Payroll). It includes suggestions on how to make that journey successfully, and how to maintain homeostasis in your environment once you do.
