It was a wonderful opportunity to see a combination of new and seasoned Query Manager users at the Query Manager INSPIRE event on 10 June in Manchester. This event, which has been held since 2019 and hosted by various organisations in the UK, focuses on collaboration and sharing ideas and knowledge in the Query Manager community. This year’s event was a true testament to this growing community.

The day was packed with valuable insights. The agenda included topics around EPI-USE Labs’ product innovations and the future roadmap, Query Manager in the BTP and AI contexts, and new use cases of how Query Manager can be leveraged.

For me, the true value of events like this one lies in the excitement and inspiration they generate. They bring together a community of users, all willing to push the boundaries and extract the most from the product. The shared knowledge and the collective growth that emerges from these events is invigorating.

The Query Manager event unlocked these benefits for the participants:

  • Collective innovation: We all get stuck in our workflows and routines. But when Query Manager users gather, a vibrant exchange of ideas occurs. Someone's unique use case inspires a new approach for another, leading to a domino effect of innovation within the community.
  • Thinking outside the box: The daily grind can make it easy to fall into a routine. INSPIRE User groups like this provide a much-needed breath of fresh air. Hearing how others are leveraging Query Manager pushes us to re-evaluate our methods and explore possibilities that we may have previously overlooked.
  • Learning from industry experts: There's no substitute for real-world experience. User groups offer a platform for seasoned practitioners to share their hard-won knowledge. Those "I haven't thought of that before" moments often stem from practical tips and tricks that wouldn't be found in any manual.

It was great to attend and also contribute to a small part of this event today. It’s always great to discuss challenges we’ve overcome along with sharing success stories with peers on the same journey. I always get inspiration with a lightbulb moment, and go back with help and support for the Query Manager team.

The Query Manager INSPIRE event was a mix of innovation and collective "aha" moments, and this is the real recipe for success in becoming the agent of change in your organisation. So, the next time you have the chance to connect with fellow Query Manager users, remember: you may just be responsible for the next "I haven't thought of that before" moment.
