Representatives from a range of top companies shared ideas at the first Query Manager User Group event, held in Liverpool, United Kingdom last month. Created by users of the EPI-USE Labs’ Query Manager solution, the event was hosted by Amey, who also led the agenda. The feedback from the day was outstanding, with 95% of participants rating it 10 out of 10.

The IT leaders at Amey are seasoned users of both Query Manager and Document Builder. They have produced some remarkable HCM reports which they shared with the audience, and they also discussed common challenges.

EPI-USE Labs was invited to join the round-table discussion, presenting new features and introducing the technical development team.

The day was a resounding success, with attendees getting an understanding of how the EPI-USE Labs solutions drive major initiatives and make a real difference with day-to-day reporting. More importantly, the event saw people forming friendships, sharing ideas and tackling common problems together.

The event was fun as well as solution-focused. Some really creative and powerful reports were showcased highlighting that Query Manager is enabling good business decisions. For example, at Amey Query Manager is feeding data to 13 out of 26 Power BI dashboards. Also, some simple operational reports that are making a real difference; Document Builder has enabled Amey to generate 3000 annual references much more quickly, bringing a huge reduction in workload.

EPI-USE Labs is committed to enabling this User Group even further. One idea is for the Group to have direct interaction with the EPI-USE Labs’ development team, so the users can drive innovation, and the development leads can road-test ideas on the community and allow them to participate in the next-generation thinking. EPI-USE Labs’ collaboration platform Client Central will be used to facilitate this process.
