EPI-USE Labs is a global company with hubs throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, the Americas, Australia, the Philippines, South Africa, the Middle East and Turkey.

The EPI-USE Labs’ Europe region held a successful User Group conference in London on Monday 2 October. Over 80 attendees, including existing and new clients, came together to learn, analyse, share experiences and enjoy the day. An annual event in the EPI-USE Labs’ calendar, this was the fourth consecutive conference, and feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive.

Industry leaders from EPI-USE Labs showcased the benefits of new developments and discussed industry trends. Guests heard first-hand the benefits of EPI-USE Labs’ solutions from companies who have worked with them.

“The aim of our User Group events is to inspire, foster collaboration and help users get the very best out of their SAP investment,” says Europe Regional Managing Director, Evan Jones. “In the morning, we presented updates about our solutions to our client’s challenges, and our strategy moving forward; the afternoon was an opportunity for clients to discuss specific case studies of SAP solutions and how they have worked with us, and share knowledge with others.”

Guest speaker Neil How from Informa said, “Events like this one broaden the company reach-out, and you can learn a lot from each of the industry sectors. It’s great to hear other people’s successes, and how they’ve used the product in a different way.”

One of the highlights this year included a session about Data privacy/security and GDPR (the General Data Protection Regulation) and the effect this is having on organisations around the world, by UKISUG Director and ACS SIG Chair Brian Froom, along with Paul Hammersley, EPI-USE Labs’ Product Portfolio Owner for Landscape Solutions. Other topics include ‘Navigating the future SAP roadmap with S/4 HANA’, ‘Cloud and Managed Services’, ‘Human Capital Management’ and ‘Delivering on Digital Business Change’. Guest speakers included Amey’s Michael Gleeson and Ian Thomas, Richard Cain from Dorset County Council, Neil How from Informa, Neil Wilson from Barclays, Ian Naylor from Innogy Business Systems and David Hall from Compass Group.

Evan Jones adds: “We’ve evolved and grown over the last twenty years or so through customer input into our services and solutions, so events like this are valuable both for us and our clients.”

The conference was held at the historic Royal College of Physicians, an impressive venue near Regent’s Park in central London.
