I like the EPI-USE Labs culture. It's a bunch of dynamic, very friendly, very hardworking people and with true, innovative spirit. We try to solve it in such a way that we give customers long term benefit. Labs is different from other companies because of the culture that Labs has. Everybody helps other people, there's no person that we leave stranded, but everybody is a part of the family and is supported. I really love the flexibility, you’re not forced to do one specific thing and you get a lot of exposure to working as a developer and working with the clients. We all come from different places, a wide range of different countries. For example, I am French but I work with English, South African, Italian, Swiss, Swedish I think this diversity of cultures really helps us to be more open minded and innovative. We are inventing and we are creating, and in order to do that successfully, we need to give people the time and space to be creative. So that investment in research and development for us is fundamental to our success, and it comes back to the origins of who we are as a EPI-USE Labs within the group. It's a very supportive environment where the managers and your coworkers help you a lot to build the skills and knowledge you need to do your role. They have a lot of trust in you and you're given a lot of responsibility. The culture is more of a family than a bunch of colleagues, and there's always an encouragement for challenging yourself daily and asking questions, you know, sharing knowledge. There's just a great energy within the company and a great set of people means it's such a pleasure to get up in the morning and go to work. It's nice to be surrounded by a lot of cutting edge visionary thinkers. The great thing about EPI-USE Labs is that although you can work independently, you always have colleagues by your side who support you. The people really make the difference at EPI-USE Labs. Our collaborative approach internally really reflects how we do business externally. You get the feeling that attention is paid first to the people, and if you look after the people, the people look after the rest. You're allowed to be who you are in this company, be authentic self, and that's why I'm still here. If you've got an initiative, you can make anything happen. Software Engineering Track

While earning a generous package and experiencing the real world of software engineering, we encourage further studies during the graduate year by allowing time off to attend lectures, study and write exams. We assign mentors who guide graduates through the day-to-day work we do, and provide the support needed to succeed.

You must be in your final year of study, graduating early in 2027.
You should not have any bursary work-back obligations.
Courses that we consider are as follows:

To be honest, I can't really remember my first day at EPI-USE. I think I was employee number three. There was a very small distinction between the computer science department staff and the people that was appointed in EPI-USE in those early days. We all started off as assistant lecturers and then appointed by EPI-USE shortly after. I've really worked with the most amazing people throughout my tenure with EPI-USE and even to today, so that will definitely be number one. Second,ly, I've really worked on very challenging and interesting projects, whether it was technical when I was still a Software Engineer, and then even with the Account Management and now with the Process Engineering and Labs. I can say that I still haven't found my feet at Labs because then I'll be standing still. And I think thirdly, it's just the uniqueness of the culture of our company. Throughout the various roles that I fulfilled, I had exposure to cultures in other companies, being a consultant as well, and I just realized that we had something unique. I wouldn't say I'm proud of anything that I've done or achieved. I take pride in my work and in how I do it. It's been a sense of satisfaction and relief every time that you've accomplished something like solving a technical problem, closing a deal, signing a new contract with your clients, or just improving a process. So I think it's more satisfaction and gratefulness for what we've been able to do.
