Existing customers can take advantage of reduced pricing for this upgrade to be determined after a discovery call to confirm scope.
We recommend customers upgrade as soon as possible, but the following would require a mandatory update:
- An upgrade to S/4
- You need support for Object Sync for BW
- If you want to take advantage of any of the new features in DSM5 such as source side scrambling
- Any current need that cannot be satisfied by DSM4
The upgrade is managed and led by our experienced services team to recommend best practices and maximize benefits. DSM4 and DSM5 can be deployed and run side by side to minimize impact of the upgrade.
DSM5 will then be rolled out and implemented accordingly in the landscape. The downloading and importing of transports and users can be done independently in advance. Implementation by one of EPI-USE Labs service experts is essential to ensure support.
Remote access will be required for the upgrade.
