About this webinar

GDPR is not a new concept anymore, and most organisations have adapted their processes and systems to work within the guidelines set out around the legislation. But does that mean it is easy? Definitely not. Can you implement it once and then forget it? Also not the case! You have to adapt on a continual basis, and take new considerations into account as they surface.

In this webinar, Paul Hammersley, our SVP for ALM solutions, has a discussion with Oskar Bielefeldt of German manufacturer MAPA about the approach to their GDPR project, and how it has changed over the last three years. Find out how they are processing the data for one-time orders, and have reduced their data retention period from permanent retention, to 18 months, to less than 30 days before redesigning a key business process to minimise data stored in SAP for which they act as only a data processor.

Watch this webinar to learn about:

  • MAPA’s GDPR journey
  • Reducing your security risk in SAP by scrambling non-production data
  • Real world examples of applying data retention periods
  • Data redaction vs data deletion
  • Reactive redaction vs proactive redaction

Paul also does a live demo to demonstrate how Data Redact supports MAPA to remove personal data of one-time orders.
