SAP SuccessFactors has officially launched People Analytics, and I have completed my initial review of the educational series associated with its launch. If you are curious about how we got to this stage, I encourage you to check out my previous blog titled The Road to People Analytics. If you are ready to learn all about People Analytics and what it may mean for you and your organization’s reporting, analysis and planning goals, I encourage you to download my new ebook series, called What is SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics?
This three-part series serves as an accompaniment to SAP SuccessFactors’ online training series titled “People Analytics: Design for Success” which is accessible from here (valid SAP credentials required). It includes my impressions about both the strategy and launch of People Analytics, and includes helpful links to get you started with investigating People Analytics and its associated solutions.
The ebook series is divided into three editions:
- Edition 1 - Provides a basic overview outlining SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics
- Edition 2 - Discusses the methodology for how to align the People Analytics solution with your business drivers, including an overview of the methodology for how to roll out People Analytics to data consumers and decision makers, and value definition and value realization within People Analytics.
- Edition 3 - Outlines the actual reporting tools and solutions included within People Analytics.

2021 update:
The ebooks referred to here, published in February 2019, have been updated with the latest advancements in a new ebook called 2021 HCM and Payroll reporting options for SAP and SuccessFactors, available here.
